Version: 1.0

Effective Date: 07/01/2026

1) Purpose

LandIt.jobs is committed to integrity, fairness, and transparency. This policy explains how we identify, prevent, disclose, and manage conflicts of interest, and sets the conditions under which individuals with a dual role (working for LandIt.jobs and legitimately purchasing LandIt.jobs products) may use our products and data for external recruitment activities.

2) Scope

Applies to:

  • All LandIt.jobs employees, contractors, consultants
  • Third parties with authorised access to platform data
  • Dual-role individuals (internal team members who also purchase and use LandIt.jobs products)

3) Definitions

  • Conflict of Interest: A situation where personal, financial, or professional interests influence or appear to influence decisions made on behalf of LandIt.jobs.
  • Dual-Role Individual: Someone who works for LandIt.jobs and separately purchases LandIt.jobs products (e.g., job credits, subscriptions, data tools) for external recruitment work.
  • Internal Data: Non-public, confidential, or privileged information accessible through internal systems, roles, or conversations.
  • Customer Data: Data legitimately accessed through paid products and standard customer interfaces, subject to the product’s licence and terms.

4) Guiding Principles

  • Act honestly, fairly, and in the best interests of LandIt.jobs users.
  • Keep platform operations impartial; avoid real, potential, or perceived conflicts.
  • Protect confidentiality and use data strictly for authorised purposes.
  • Ensure decisions are based on objective rules, not personal interests.

5) Data Use Rules (General)

All platform data (employer information, candidate details, job listings, communications, analytics) must be used exclusively for legitimate LandIt.jobs purposes. Prohibited:

  • Using internal data for personal gain, external recruitment, sales, or marketing
  • Sharing non-public data with unauthorised parties
  • Using internal data to build/support competing services
  • Exploiting confidential information for self or others

6) Examples of Conflicts

  • Preferential treatment for certain employers/candidates due to relationships or benefits
  • Outside work in recruitment/job boards/competing tech that overlaps with internal duties
  • Gifts, incentives, or benefits that could influence platform decisions
  • Leveraging internal insights (roadmaps, moderation, ranking logic) for external advantage

7) Disclosure

Disclose promptly to the designated compliance lead or senior management:

  • Any actual, potential, or perceived conflict
  • Any outside employment or consulting overlapping with recruitment/job-boards
  • Personal relationships affecting impartiality
  • Offers of gifts, benefits, or payments from users, employers, or vendors

8) Managing Conflicts

LandIt.jobs may implement:

  • Access restrictions to systems/data
  • Reassignment of duties or separation of responsibilities
  • Additional oversight and approval steps
  • Declining specific activities where conflicts cannot be mitigated

9) Fair & Ethical Operation

  • Listings, ranking, recommendations, and visibility must remain impartial.
  • No one may use their position to influence outcomes for personal gain.
  • Apply rules consistently; treat all users equitably.

10) Confidentiality

  • Keep all non-public information strictly confidential.
  • Do not share with unauthorised persons or use outside authorised purposes.
  • Confidentiality obligations continue after engagement ends.

11) Permitted Commercial Use by Dual-Role Individuals (Carve-Out)

LandIt.jobs permits dual-role individuals to use data obtained solely via purchased products in line with the applicable product licence and customer terms, provided that:

1. Customer Channel Only: Access occurs only through standard customer interfaces and accounts (not internal systems, roles, or back-office tools).

2. No Internal Privilege: Internal knowledge, non-public data, or privileged access must not be used to gain advantage as a customer.

3. Licence Compliance: Use is strictly within the product’s licence, scope, and data-use restrictions.

4. Separation of Roles: Internal and customer activities are kept operationally separate, with no blending or cross-referencing of internal insights.

If these conditions cannot be met, customer use is not permitted.

12) Separation of Roles & Access Controls

  • Maintain two distinct accounts: one internal (work) and one customer (commercial).
  • Internal roles must not be used to influence customer outcomes (pricing, features, visibility, support priority).
  • No access to non-public tools (moderation queues, ranking models, admin dashboards) in the customer capacity.
  • Technical controls (role-based access, logging, and monitoring) will be applied to enforce separation.

13) Undue Advantage Prohibition

Dual-role individuals must not use internal position to obtain:

  • Preferential pricing or discounts not generally available
  • Early feature access or bespoke enhancements not available to all customers
  • Visibility advantages or strategic insights (e.g., algorithmic adjustments, roadmap intel)

14) Transparency to External Clients

When using LandIt.jobs data in external recruitment services, dual-role individuals must clearly represent that the data was obtained via commercially purchased products under standard customer terms - not through internal privileges.
