Welcome to LandIt.jobs ("Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"), forming a legally binding agreement between you and LandIt.jobs. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

This Agreement is between you and LandIt.jobs Ltd, whose registered office is:

1. Account Registration

To fully access the Platform and its features, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate and up to date information during the registration process, and to notify us of any changes which are relevant to your registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activities that occur under your account.

2. Job Listings

As a User, you may have the ability to post job listings on the Platform. You agree that all job listings you post will be accurate, lawful, and comply with applicable laws and regulations. You are solely responsible for the content of your job listings and any consequences arising from posting inaccurate or misleading information.

3. Job Applications

As a User applying for jobs through the Platform, you agree to provide accurate and truthful information in your application materials. When applying for roles, you will be engaging directly with employers. Any contracts or arrangements formed are strictly between you and the employer. LandIt.jobs is not a party to these agreements and cannot be held liable for any issues arising from them. LandIt.jobs is not responsible for the hiring decisions of employers using the Platform. We do not guarantee the accuracy or authenticity of job listings, and we encourage Users to exercise caution and conduct their own due diligence.

4. User Content

The Platform may allow you to post, submit, or upload content, including but not limited to resumes, cover letters, and job listings ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content, but by providing it to us, you grant LandIt.jobs a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform your User Content in connection with the Platform's operation and promotion.

5. Communications, Links, and Third-Party Content

LandIt.jobs is not a party to communications between candidates and employers but may monitor communications where legally required.

The Platform may include links to third-party sites. LandIt.jobs is not responsible for their content or your use of them.

6. Accuracy and General Disclaimer

LandIt.jobs provides information for guidance only and does not guarantee accuracy. Your use of the Platform is at your own risk.

LandIt.jobs does not guarantee that emails or content transmitted via the Platform are virus-free.

Your use of the Platform is entirely at your own risk.

7. Use of the Platform

Intellectual Property: All trademarks, logos, and content on the Platform remain the property of LandIt.jobs. No license is granted unless expressly stated.

You may view and print Platform materials for personal use only.

Any reproduction, modification, distribution, or republication without prior written consent is prohibited.

8. Availability

LandIt.jobs does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Platform. All liability of LandIt.jobs, its directors or employees, howsoever arising for any loss from your use of or inability to use the Platform is excluded.

9. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, overburden or impair the Platform’s functionality.
  • Post false, misleading, fraudulent or defamatory content.
  • Upload viruses, malicious code, or engage in activities that harm LandIt.jobs's systems or third-party systems.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform or other user accounts.
  • Use automated tools (bots, spiders, scrapers) to access the Platform or collect User information.
  • Harass, threaten, or intimidate other Users or LandIt.jobs personnel.
  • Infringe the intellectual property rights of others.
  • Overload, damage, or impair Platform systems.
  • Violate any applicable laws, regulations or third-party rights.

10. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and disclose information about our Users.

11. Modifications to the Platform

LandIt.jobs reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Platform at any time without prior notice. We may also impose limits on certain features or restrict your access to parts or all of the Platform without liability or notice.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold LandIt.jobs, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives harmless from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising out of your use of the Platform, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable to the other, for any loss or damage which may be suffered by the other party due to any cause beyond the first party’s reasonable control including without limitation any power failure.

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW,  LANDIT.JOBS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

15.Termination

LandIt.jobs may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time without liability.

16. Assignment

This Agreement shall be personal to you, and you may not assign, transfer, sublet, lease or delegate all or any of your rights and obligations, without LandIt.jobs prior written consent.

17. Severability

If any provision is deemed invalid, the remaining terms remain enforceable.

18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflicts of law principles. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

19. Candidate Database, Confidentiality & Permitted Use

Where LandIt.jobs provides Users with access to a candidate database or other candidate information, such access is provided solely for the purpose of genuine recruitment and related employment activities.

Users must treat all candidate information accessed through the Platform as confidential and must:

  • use candidate information solely for legitimate recruitment, hiring and related purposes;
  • keep candidate information confidential and take reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised access, use or disclosure;
  • not disclose, forward, copy, download, reproduce, publish or otherwise share candidate information with any third party except where reasonably necessary for a legitimate recruitment process and where the recipient is authorised to receive such information;
  • not circulate candidate CVs, profiles, contact details, employment history, salary information or other personal information within the wider industry or to individuals or organisations who are not directly involved in the relevant recruitment process;
  • not use candidate information obtained through the Platform to contact, approach or discuss a candidate for purposes unrelated to a genuine recruitment opportunity;
  • not use information obtained through the Platform to identify, investigate, monitor or discuss a candidate's activities, employment circumstances or intentions with their current employer, former employer, competitors or other third parties, except where this forms part of a legitimate recruitment process and is lawful;
  • not make or circulate derogatory, defamatory, misleading or otherwise inappropriate comments about candidates based on information obtained through the Platform; and
  • not use candidate information to compile, maintain or distribute an independent database of candidates or to facilitate the sharing of candidate information outside the Platform.

Users must not use access to the candidate database to gain a competitive advantage unrelated to legitimate recruitment activities, including using candidate information to identify individuals who may be considering leaving an employer and subsequently sharing or discussing that information within the industry.

Where a User wishes to share candidate information with a client, colleague, recruitment partner or other third party as part of a legitimate recruitment process, the User remains responsible for ensuring that the disclosure is lawful and that the recipient is subject to appropriate confidentiality and data protection obligations.

Users must comply with all applicable data protection and privacy laws when accessing, storing, using or sharing candidate information, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

LandIt.jobs reserves the right to restrict, suspend or terminate access to the candidate database where it reasonably believes that a User has breached this section or has otherwise misused candidate information.

Nothing in this section prevents a User from communicating with a candidate, employer or other relevant party where such communication is lawful and reasonably necessary as part of a genuine recruitment process.

20. Conflicts of Interest & Dual-Role Use

LandIt.jobs operates fairly and transparently. We identify and manage conflicts of interest and protect user data. Team members who also purchase LandIt.jobs products may use data only through customer channels, under standard licence terms, and never via internal privileges. We separate internal and customer access, prohibit undue advantage, and monitor for compliance. Breaches may result in suspension or termination. 20. Changes to the Terms

LandIt.jobs may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the "Effective Date" at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Platform after the revised Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
