BCM Wilson Hill are looking to recruit a Rural Surveyor to join their Rural Consultancy team in either the Winchester office or blended between the Winchester and East Ilsley offices.
Job Description:
The role requires a candidate who is educated to degree level or equivalent in a RICS accredited degree with full membership of RICS with RICS registered Valuer status and Fellowship of the CAAV with some PQE.

The Position
This is a varied and rewarding role that involves working closely with landowners, farmers, estates and rural businesses to provide expert advice and strategic support.
Responsibilities of the position include:
- RICS valuations for a variety of purposes
- Professional work
- Land, farm and estate management services
- Managing and developing graduates, including APC mentoring and coaching
- Purchase, sale and letting of estates, farms, land and commercial properties
- Planning and development consultancy
- Environmental schemes
- Collaboration with our other departments, including sales, lettings, architecture and planning.

The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have good experience and a successful track record in delivering property valuations, professional rural services and farm and estate management services.
A keen supporter of other colleagues and experience in mentoring and coaching graduates looking to gain their APC and CAAV.
A strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, an eye for detail and a sense of humour are all considered key traits.
Excellent administrative, time management and communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and confidence in liaising with and working with clients and multiple fee earners.
Initiative, motivation and innovation.
Ability to win work and develop business, drawing on and/or growing a strong professional network.
Fully conversant in Microsoft packages (incl. SharePoint & Teams), mapping software and ideally, property management software.
