Location: Corten House, Aykley Heads, Durham
We are looking for an individual who has specialist knowledge of property and property processes and who has a professional, positive, enthusiastic and flexible approach to work to join our Land Management Team.

WHAT IS INVOLVED?
You will be a senior member of a team responsible for the delivery of the Council’s Strategic Property Management service focusing on the Council's portfolio of rural and reclamation land. This role will ensure pro-active management of the Council’s estate ensuring the efficient management, use and occupation of the estate and working with the wider team identifying opportunities for rationalisation and/or disposal.

WHAT WILL I NEED?
You will need:-
- To be educated to Degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject
- A relevant professional qualification and Full Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS)
- Evidence of continued professional development
You will have experience of managing a range of property related functions and staff, including valuation, estate management, acquisitions, disposals, leasing/letting, covenants, compensation and stakeholder management. Please refer to the attached person specification for the full criteria.
