Today the firm’s core business is traditional Rural Land and Estate Management, together with associated professional work for private, institutional and charity clients. In addition, the firm has a thriving property sales and lettings business and is a panel valuer for many banks and lenders.
Our core trading area is Shropshire, Staffordshire, Herefordshire, Mid and North Wales,
serviced from our offices in Shrewsbury, Ludlow and Hereford.
The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Chartered Rural Surveyor to join our Head office in Shrewsbury or possibly at one of our other regional offices as part of our dynamic rural property team.
This is a varied and rewarding role.
The key responsibility will be the management of Rural Estates and associated professional work.
The role offers excellent career progression opportunities for the right candidate.
About You:
You’ll be a confident relationship builder, with a proven track record in leadership and delivering clients’ objectives, putting clients first and delivering to the highest professional standards.
We’re looking for someone who is commercially focused, proactive, and personable, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Skills & Qualifications:
- FRICS/MRICS qualified (RICS Registered Valuer preferred)
- Proven experience in property management and associated professional work
- Sound knowledge of appropriate legislation, procedures and practices
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Proven leadership skills
- Attention to detail and a professional, organised approach
- Proficient in LandApp, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Full, clean UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
