We are creating a new role for an experienced and capable Buildings & Works Manager to take day-to-day responsibility for all maintenance, repair, refurbishment and compliance across the Estate’s buildings and infrastructure.
Reporting to the Managing Agent, the postholder will lead a small in-house maintenance team and manage a group of trusted local contractors. Key areas of responsibility include:
- Delivery of reactive, planned and capital maintenance programmes
- Specification and project management of refurbishments and building works
- Management of statutory compliance (asbestos, legionella, fire, electrical, EPC, oil and gas)
- Oversight of private water networks and Health & Safety systems
- Budgeting, procurement and reporting with the Managing Agent and Finance Manager
