Graduate Trainee Land Agent / Property Manager (Rural)

Job description
This role is an exciting opportunity for a new or recent Graduate to join the Estate team in the Arundel Estate office. Within this role, you will be responsible for providing property and Estate management support within a fast paced and very varied role.
Responsibilities:
· Tenant and contractor liaison, including booking in property maintenance work and arranging property inspections.
· Commercial and residential rent reviews
· Correspondence with tenants, contractors and other teams within The Estate.
· Dealing with other ad hoc licenses, for example gardens, garages, grazing and buildings.
· To assist with the co-ordination and undertake an annual property inspection program
· Assisting with compliance requirements for properties across The Estate (H&S, property compliance, insurance risk).
· Maintaining CRM system (previous experience of a CRM system an advantage).
· Awareness of Estate budgets, cashflow and management of arrears.
· Desire to work towards CAAV/MRICS qualifications.
Essential skills:
· Proficient in Microsoft Office
· High level of attention to detail when record keeping
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to address challenges and find solutions
The ideal candidate will have a knowledge of the rural sector, and a good understanding of compliance requirements for rental properties. The candidate will also have a positive outlook, will value team work, customer service and be committed to personal development.
This is an excellent opportunity to expand your current knowledge within a fast paced and very varied team. This is a full-time position (Mon-Fri) within the Estate Office in Arundel.
