Role overview
You'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential property across a defined region, acting as the lead point of contact for clients, tenants and contractors, and helping to shape estate management strategy. You’ll be based out of our Peterborough office, and your focus will be in the following areas:
· Take responsibility for the management of multiple properties and portfolios, ensuring a high standard of service and compliance across your estates.
· Act as a lead point of contact for clients, tenants and contractors, carrying out property inspections and drafting and managing repair schedules and multiple contractor instructions.
· Manage tenancies and lettings, including arranging quotations for more complex works, advising on market value and letting options, and negotiating more complex or higher-value rent reviews.
· Manage estate budgets and cashflows, and oversee the management of rent arrears.
· Support others in the winning of work, contributing to pitches and helping to grow the portfolio.
· Identify new initiatives for your clients, and advise on legislative change and policy, implementing these to inform estate strategy.
· Assist with the management of a team of property managers.
· Be ARLA, AssocRICS and/or MRICS qualified.
Team overview
Savills Rural & Projects provides advice on the management of rural estates, residential portfolios and let property. Our clients range from private estates and landowners to institutional and corporate property owners. The team comprises property managers, estate administrators and support staff, working alongside our wider rural specialists.
The wider Rural division operates across the UK, with a network of 37 offices and a number of estate offices from Inverness in the North to Truro in the South-West
