Role overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Infrastructure Surveyor, ideally Chartered, to join our team in Taunton.
You will have relevant experience in the infrastructure and rural property sectors, with good technical knowledge and experience, including the following.
- Knowledge of how the delivery of infrastructure works
- Collaborative team working within multidisciplinary teams
- Negotiation of land consents, acquisitions and compensation claims
- Use of digital processes to manage the delivery of services
- Knowledge of GIS and spatial data sets
- Estate and land management
- A good understanding of property and land law matters
- Demonstrate good understanding of landlord and tenant matter, legislation and best practice guidance
- A good understanding of valuation principles
- Ambitious and positive can-do attitude
- A team player but able to work on own initiative
- Ability to solve problems and provide solutions
- Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changes in a dynamic working environment and meet deadlines
- The ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally to engage, influence and communicate with clients and other professionals
- Demonstrates professional presentation, with a clear style of communication appropriate to the task
- Demonstrates an understanding of Health and Safety matters
- Demonstrates the ability to shape their own professional development with help from line manager
- Preferably MRICS and CAAV.
- Strong negotiating and communication skills.
