Role overview
As a team we are committed to the future of the countryside. Due to growth in our office an exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and talented Director (or senior Associate Director) to join our Estate Management team in Wiltshire, Dorset and North Somerset.
You’ll be responsible for developing client relationships, delivering strategic estate management advice and supporting the continued growth of our business and people.
You’ll be based out of our Salisbury office, and your focus will be in the following areas:
· Build and develop trusted relationships with a diverse portfolio of estate management clients.
· Support the growth of our Estate Management service across Wiltshire, Dorset and North Somerset.
· Identify and convert business development opportunities across existing and new client relationships.
· Deliver strategic estate management advice aligned to clients’ long-term objectives.
· Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to provide outstanding client service.
· Develop a strong profile within the rural sector and become a recognised adviser in the region.
· Mentor and support the development of more junior team members.
· Work closely with colleagues across Savills to deliver integrated client solutions.
· Support business planning and contribute to the continued success and growth of the wider Rural division.
· Embrace change and bring fresh thinking and creative solutions to client challenges.
· Use technology and data to enhance decision-making and improve client outcomes.
· Help clients future-proof their estates and rural businesses.
· Develop relationships across the rural business community and maintain a strong network of contacts and introducers.
· Represent Savills in the market and build long-term connections that generate opportunities.
· Take initiative and ownership while remaining practical, collaborative and client-focused.
You are likely to have extensive professional experience in estate management, rural consultancy or a related discipline, with strong technical and commercial knowledge, experience of client delivery and business development, and a relevant professional qualification such as MRICS or equivalent. You will be excellent at building and nurturing relationships across the team and champion team development.

The successful candidate will be joining Salisbury office’s rural multi-disciplined team, providing strategic and practical advice to a diverse portfolio of rural estates and businesses across the South. We work collaboratively together to deliver integrated client solutions and are supported by an experienced regional leadership team.
We are passionate about the rural sector, its future and the opportunities to support our clients in fulfilling their objectives. We work closely with our colleagues in neighbouring offices as well as within the wider Rural division across the UK as part of a network of 37 offices and a number of estate offices from Inverness in the North to Truro in the South-West.
