We are now seeking a talented and motivated MRICS Chartered Surveyor to join our Rural North team - an opportunity to become part of a respected, growing and supportive practice.

The Opportunity:

This role offers genuine breadth and responsibility within a well-established rural department.

Based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch you will work across a wide geographical area, advising a diverse client base that ranges from private landowners and farming families to estates and national developers.

You will enjoy exposure to a varied portfolio of work including:

Rural and residential agency, from initial appraisal through to negotiation and completion
RICS Red Book valuations across agricultural, residential and development assets
Secured lending, probate, tax planning and portfolio restructuring advice
Agricultural support scheme applications and ongoing management
Estate and land management, including FBTs, grazing licences, GK agreements and Contract Farming arrangements
Rent reviews, lease renewals and tenant negotiations
Planning applications and development advice
Option and promotion agreements
Farm dispersal auctions, collective sales and on-site client engagement

This is not a narrow or siloed position. It is a hands-on, client-facing role offering autonomy, responsibility and the opportunity to build meaningful long-term relationships within the rural sector.

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for an individual who combines professional expertise with genuine enthusiasm for the rural community.

MRICS qualified
Ideally a Registered RICS Valuer
Knowledgeable about farming and agricultural practice
Commercially aware and confident in client-facing situations
Organised, accurate and proactive
A strong communicator and natural relationship builder
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
In possession of a full UK driving licence and your own vehicle
